The APIs

Audio Noise Remover

Removes fans, traffic, hum, keyboard clicks and room noise from voice recordings. Send audio or video links, get clean speech back as MP3, M4A or WAV.

$4 per 1,000 minutes of audio

  • Background noise about 39 dB quieter on our test clip, voice level almost unchanged
  • Runs about 5x faster than real time
  • For podcasts, interviews, courses, voice notes and call recordings

PDF & Image OCR

Gets the text out of PDFs, scans and photos. Pages that already contain text are read directly; only scanned pages and images go through OCR, so you only pay OCR prices where you need them.

$4 per 1,000 scanned pages ยท $0.50 per 1,000 digital pages

  • Text per page plus one text file for the whole document
  • Line positions and confidence scores if you want them
  • For search, RAG pipelines, invoices, forms and archives

Video Frame Extractor

Pulls still images out of video files: every N seconds, a set number spread across the video, exact timestamps, or one per scene change. JPG, PNG or WebP, each with its timestamp.

$0.80 per 1,000 frames

  • Thumbnails, preview strips and cover images
  • Frames for vision models and video understanding
  • Scene-change mode for summaries

How to use them

Two ways in. Pick whichever marketplace you already use.

On Apify: pay per use

  1. Create a free account on Apify. It comes with monthly free credit, enough to try every API here.
  2. Open the API you want, paste a file link and press Start, or call it from your code.
  3. You're billed only for the minutes, pages or frames processed.

One request, results back:

curl -X POST \
  "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/mvisiondigital~audio-noise-remover/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"audioUrls": ["https://example.com/interview.m4a"]}'

Swap in pdf-image-ocr with fileUrls, or video-frame-extractor with videoUrls. Each API page has Python and JavaScript examples.

On RapidAPI: one key, monthly plans

All three APIs sit behind one RapidAPI key. Start a job with a POST, then check GET /jobs/{jobId} until it says SUCCEEDED. You're only charged when a job finishes.

Questions

Do you keep my files?
On Apify, results are saved in your own Apify storage, not ours. On RapidAPI, result links stay up for 7 days and are then deleted.

Is there a monthly fee?
Not on Apify, where you pay per minute, page or frame. On RapidAPI there's a free plan and two monthly plans. Either way, files that fail aren't charged.
